I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1969. After serving as an intelligence officer on combat crew status in Southeast Asia where I was awarded the Bronze Star, Air Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Vietnamese Service Medal with 4 battle stars, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, together with the National Defense Service Medal, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1975. I worked my way up the ranks and became a named partner in the law firm of Prappas, Moncure, Eidman & Solomon where I handled general business, corporate, partnership, securities, oil and gas, and real estate matters before starting my own practice in 1984.

Since 1975, I have worked with entrepreneurs in all aspects of business, from start-ups to mature businesses and public companies, regarding their contract, corporate, real estate, partnership, employment policies and practices, and general business matters. While acting as there outside general counsel, I have helped them start, buy, sell, and operate businesses and commercial real estate projects of all types. After completing the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's Advanced Civil Trial Advocacy Program in 1987 and the Master Advocates Program in 1988, I expanded the practice to include commercial litigation and have helped clients resolve numerous business, corporate, and partnership disputes and dissolutions. Although I no longer directly handle lawsuits, my experience of teaching law students and lawyers for more than ten years in the Advanced Civil Trial Advocacy Programs at the University of Houston Law Center, coupled with the experience of trying lawsuits and handling numerous mediations, allow me to bring to wealth conservation programs, commercial lending practices, commercial real estate development projects, business and commercial real estate acquisitions, contract negotiations and preparation, and general business matters a strong awareness of not only what is important to the bottom line economics of the deal, but also what is important should the transaction wind up in the court house.

My practice includes negotiating, structuring, advising on, implementing, and documenting the following types of matters:

Wealth Conservation | International | General Businesses and Start-ups | Mergers and Acquisitions | Business Contracts | Commercial Real Estate
