I work with employers by advising them regarding the hiring, retention, and separation of employees; the hiring process, employment agreements, reference checks and offer letters. I help them prepare employee handbooks, policies, and procedures manuals; drug and alcohol testing, policies, and procedures; internet and email policies; discipline procedures; termination guidelines and procedures; supervisor manuals; covenants not to compete and nondisclosure agreements. I advise employers in matters concerning Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination Employment Act; anti-harassment and anti-discrimination matters, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
